PTInfo Munich for Mobiles
PTInfo Munich is a free Open Source program for Java enabled devices such as many cellular phones are. It calculates departure and arrival times of the Munich public transportation lines S1, S2, S5, S7 and S8. Additional lines will be added in future versions.
Start and destination stations are comfortably selected using lists. Departure and arrival times will then be computed and displayed for the next two available connections between the two stations. The times for a return are in addition quickly calculated. PTInfo Munich furthermore features a favorites management to save and easily load connections you often use. But the best of it all is that PTInfo Munich doesn't need any connection to the internet. It therefore doesn't cause costs at all!
PTInfo Munich is released under the terms and conditions of the GPL and is thus freely available.
